Affiliate disclosure
Last updated July 2026
SerumTruth is reader-supported. This page explains exactly how we make money and why it does not bend a single score.
How we make money
Some of our “where to buy” links are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer pays us a small commission, at no extra cost to you. We work with programs including Amazon Associates, YesStyle, and networks such as Rakuten, Awin, and Impact. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
What it does not change
Commission never affects a SerumProof score, a ranking, or what we say about a product. Here is how we keep that true:
- Scores are computed by a fixed rubric from the research and the disclosed formula, before any link is added.
- We link to a product because our score says it is worth considering, not the other way around.
- When a serum is a poor buy, we say so plainly, affiliate link or not.
- No brand can pay for a review, a better score, or a placement. We do not accept that.
The full method is on our how we review page, and every score shows its own math so you can check it.
Where you will see it
Affiliate links are marked at the point of use with a short note, and outbound buy links carry the standard nofollow sponsored attributes. This page is the full version of that note.
