Heartleaf Calming Essence

$28·150 ml·~$20/mo to use

Reviewed by SerumTruth Editorial · Updated July 2026

A big-format, well-priced way to pat on a genuinely high dose of heartleaf extract daily. Evidence for houttuynia cordata is still limited and this is a comfort layer, not a treatment, and the small essential-oil blend is worth a patch test on reactive skin. As a soothing first step it delivers exactly what it promises.

What’s inside

ActiveDisclosedDose
Heartleaf (Houttuynia Cordata)60%Studied

A 60% houttuynia cordata (heartleaf) extract essence with betaine, polyglyceryl-10 laurate and a light cocoa, orange peel, basil and lavender oil blend for scent, no hyaluronic acid, panthenol or ceramide layered behind it, in a clear pump bottle. It is a single-minded calming layer for the appearance of a less-reddened, more comfortable-looking complexion, similar in spirit to a heartleaf ampoule but at a much bigger, splash-on size. Heartleaf is not fragile, so the clear bottle is not a liability.

How it’s delivered

DeliveryStandardPackagingClear dropper

Air- and light-sensitive actives (vitamin C, copper peptides) lose potency fast in the wrong packaging, so delivery and the bottle are scored, not just what’s on the label.
